Halle Berry
AKM Images / GSI Media

Halle Berry is officially on diaper duty again.

E! News has learned that the Oscar winner delivered a baby boy Saturday at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, her first child with hubby Olivier Martinez.

This is the second child for the Oscar winner, who is also mom to 5-year-old Nahla, her daughter with ex-Gabriel Aubry.

Martinez first revealed that he and his stunning wife were expecting a boy in June, with the Call star telling People, "My son will remain an American, but I will remain French."

PHOTOS: Pregnant Halle Berry sings and dances at Los Angeles concert

"I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture," Martinez continued. "I feel good there—but I'm still a foreigner. My son will be an American."

In April, the couple's rep confirmed rumors that Berry was concealing a baby bump, telling E! News, "We can confirm that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are expecting a child. We will not be commenting on or confirming any additional details."

Before the couple made their big baby news announcement, Berry made an appearance on the Wendy Williams Show last November dishing on Nahla's desire to be a big sister.

"Every night, we do our prayers," Berry said during a November appearance on The Wendy Williams Show. "We pray to God, so sweet. She says, 'God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.' And I say, ‘I can do one of those things, I know for sure. The other one, we've got to keep praying on.'"

NEWS: Will famous children be more protected because of Halle Berry's Anti-Paparazzi law?

The adorable tyke soon got her wish.

Berry's second pregnancy did little to slow her down.

In the midst of her 9 months with child, Martinez and Berry made it official and tied the knot in July in France, and she also fought to get an anti-paparazzi bill passed.

Once the mother-of-two gets settled, she's set to star in Steven Spielberg's new CBS drama Extant, in which she'll play an astronaut who returns home after a year-long solo mission in space.

The series is scheduled to air in summer 2014.

6/10:Hey Miley Cyrus, Sinead O’Connor is Picking on Simon Cowell Now

It’s probably safe to assume that Sinead O’Connor won’t be writing any more letters to Miley Cyrus.

On Friday, O’Connor appeared on Ireland’s Late Late Show to blast another music figure: Simon Cowell.

In fact, O’Connor went on a long rant about how Cowell and music industry people like him, (including frequent show judge Louis Walsh) are destroying the industry.

“Why One Direction are popularized is because the girls want to have sex with them, that’s what it’s about,” she said on the program. “I feel like the industry of music does exploit people who are possibly a little too young to know what they’re doing.”

“There’s a certain alarm that needs to get rung. Music is being murdered. Rock and roll is being murdered . . . by all this worship of fame, Pop Idol, X Factor, people like Simon Cowell, deciding what records should sound like. Deciding who gets to be famous.”

Of course, O’Connor also opened up about her spat with Cyrus from earlier this week. Turns out, Sinead O’Connor is a Smiler.

“I think Miley’s a great artist. That’s not what it’s about. I like her songs, I love her voice. She’s not a stupid woman. It’s about the industry,” she said.

What O’Connor stands strongly by is her defense of Amanda Bynes, who was the subject of one of Miley’s Twitter responses to O’Connor on Oct. 3.

“I was upset on behalf of Amanda Bynes, not myself,” O’Connor said Friday. “I’m used to receiving abuse. I’m a tough cookie. I thought it was a nasty thing to do to Amanda Bynes because she had nothing to do with the conversation. And also the poor girl is in the hospital at the moment for the very illness she was mocked for having.”

Watch Sinead O’Connor’s Late Late Show appearance in its entirety, here (she starts around the 52-minute mark).

And yes, Ms. O'Connor has new cheek tattoos, but she refused to talk about them on the show.

6/10:Chris Brown Lost His Virgnity at 8 Years Old, Plus Other Highlights from His Guardian Interview

There are some things you keep to yourself. Unless your name is Chris Brown.
In a new interview with The Guardian, the 24-year-old performer opens up about everything -- and we mean everything.
Let’s get to the main takeaway: Brown was 8 years old when he lost his virginity to a “local girl” who was 14 or 15 in his hometown of Tappahannock, Va.

“Yeah, really. Uh-huh . . . it’s different in the country,” he tells the publication.

Take a few minutes to process that. Ready for the next item?

He says his 2009 assault on Rihanna was “probably the biggest wake-up call for me. I had to stop acting like a little teenager, a crazy, wild young guy.”

“I learned from it, and it was almost like . . . I wouldn’t say it happened for a reason, but it was something to trigger my mind to be more of a mature adult. To handle myself in situations, don’t throw tantrums, don’t be a baby about it.”

Here are some other moments from the interview:

On watching porn with his cousins when they were young

“By that point, we were already kind of like hot to trot, you know what I’m saying? Like, girls, we weren’t afraid to talk to them; I wasn’t afraid. So at eight, being able to do it, it kind of preps you for the long run, so you can be a beast at it. You can be the best at it."

On his childhood

“I remember my kindergarten teacher made me count pennies and see how much did it add up to, and then I just remember her telling my mom, ‘He’s a smart kid.’”

On his tattoos and what they mean

“My favorite line is ‘F**k you.’ I like giving the world a big f**k you. Every tattoo I have is a big f**k you.”

And is that really a Rihanna tattoo?

“No, I think you misinterpret what nature that is. You think the tattoo is Rihanna’s face, but it’s not. [Reporter asks again] I’ve just cleared this up, this is not Rihanna’s face. I just got a tat. Like I say, a tat is on my body, so it’s personal. I liked how it looked, so I thought I’d get it done. It’s all good.”

Being rich vs. being wealthy

“I don’t want to be rich, I want to be wealthy. There’s a difference, you know? I’m rich, but I’m not in the $200m mark.”

For so much more from Chris Brown, head over to The Guardian.

6/10:Soundtrack of My Life: Kings of Leon's Caleb Followill on the songs that shaped him

On the heels of Kings of Leon’s excellent new album, Mechanical Bull, we asked frontman Caleb Followill, 31, about the music he grew up. Turns out, the man had some illuminating answers about New Orleans karaoke, loving Whitney Houston, and more. Read his answers below:
The first song I was obsessed with: I remember the first time I heard Ben E. King’s “Stand by Me,” I flipped out. I was about 8. Before I went to school, I’d press “record” on the oldies station. When I got home, I’d go through the whole tape—and then I found “Stand by Me.” I used to just play it and rewind and stop it and play it again and rewind it.

The song that reminds me of my first crush: [Sighs] That would be the Bodyguard soundtrack. I was definitely Kevin Costner to her Whitney Houston.

The first album I bought: Southern Accents by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers…. I don’t know, something about it drew me in. The first song I ever performed in public It was my 18th birthday, on Bourbon Street. Me and my brother and my cousin were all underage, but we snuck into a bar and we sang [Wild Cherry's] “Play That Funky Music.” That was actually the first time I ever got on a stage and sang. And a woman flashed us and we all looked at each other and were like, “All right, I guess this is what we’re gonna do forever.”

GET MORE EW: Subscribe to the magazine for only 33¢ an issue!

Artists you wouldn’t guess that I loved: Growing up, I was a huge Boyz II Men fan. What was that one album called, II? I used to sing it all the time. I used to listen to, like, that and Keith Sweat and all kinds of R&B music.

My going-out music: LCD Soundsystem is always good to get you in the mood to go and have a good time. I don’t really know the names of their albums, though—you can just pick one. [Laughs]

Music that reminds me of home: Harvest Moon by Neil Young. My wife always plays that. [It's] a good record to drink to, cook to, take a bath to, or whatever it is.

My go-to karaoke song: “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)” by John Michael Montgomery. It’s just fun. And you know, the drunker you get, the harder it is, so it’s a lot more fun.

The song I play for my kid [his daughter, Dixie, is 15 months old]: She’s pretty much obsessed with anything from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. [Sings] “Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog, now we got ears, it’s time for cheers!” I get it.

My jukebox jam: “If Drinkin’ Don’t Kill Me” by George Jones. Usually if you’re in a bar and there are guys sitting there, when it comes on they all raise a glass.

The song I wish I’d written: “Clay Pigeons” by Blaze Foley. It paints such a picture that when you listen to it, you hope that’s you he’s singing about.

The song I don’t like to play live: Well, there’s a song called “Ragoo” [off 2007's Because of the Times] that’s really good, but it’s a lot of hard work.

The song I want played at my funeral: I remember watching Tommy Boy and [they played] “Amazing Grace” on bagpipes. I was like, “That’s gotta happen at my funeral.” Bagpipes don’t really fit my heritage, I guess, but I would have to say “Amazing Grace” in some way, shape, or form.

5/10:Madonna opens up about being raped at knifepoint during early New York days

Before she was the Material Girl or Her Madgesty, the best-selling female artist of all time was just Madonna Louise Ciccone, a dancer from Bay City, Michigan who dreamed of making it big in New York City.

Madonna’s early days in the Big Apple weren’t easy. As she writes in a cover story for the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar, the city “did not welcome me with open arms.” In fact, the years between her 1978 flight from Michigan and her first record deal in 1982 were downright brutal: “The first year, I was held up at gunpoint,” the singer recalls. “Raped on the roof of a building I was dragged up to with a knife in my back, and had my apartment broken into three times. I don’t know why; I had nothing of value after they took my radio the first time.”

This is not the first time Madonna has discussed the assault. As The Hollywood Reporter points out, the subject came up in an interview with a British music magazine in 1995: “I have been raped and it is not an experience I would ever glamorize,” the star told New Musical Express. “Although it was devastating at the time, I know that it made me a much stronger person in retrospect. It forced me to be a survivor… much more street smart and savvy.”

GET EW ON YOUR TABLET: Subscribe today and get instant access!

The Harper‘s essay also covers Madonna’s difficult high school years — “being a rebel and not conforming doesn’t make you very popular” — and her tough transition to life in late ’70s/early ’80s New York, a harsh, unforgiving place filled with “the smell of piss and vomit everywhere, especially in the entryway of my third-floor walkup.”

Sometimes, Madonna writes, she “wondered if it was all worth it.” When those thoughts struck, “I would pull myself together and look at a postcard of Frida Kahlo taped to my wall, and the sight of her mustache consoled me. Because she was an artist who didn’t care what people thought. I admired her. She was daring. People gave her a hard time. Life gave her a hard time. If she could do it, then so could I.”

Find the full 2,100-word essay — in which Madonna also details her spiritual development and life as a mother — at Harper’s Bazaar.

Britney Spears music video for the single debuted Bitch Work

Britney Spears invited us all on a journey back in time late Tuesday night, when she debuted the music video for her club-banger of a new track, “Work Bitch.” The video is classic Britney. In a sex-dripping, fierce fashion we haven’t seen from her in years, she, quite simply, gets to work. Bitch.

Britney
via Vevo

It’s a vintage Britney video, in every absurd and amazing meaning of that label. It’s utterly nonsensical, yet tantalizing.
She’s gyrating against a white wall, flanked by female backup dancers dressed in leather. She’s gazing at herself sultrily at a vanity in the middle of a barren desert. Now the leather-clad backup dancers join her on a white platform for some floor choreography in the middle of said barren desert.

Such a sexy barren desert.

Britney then throws down some spritely choreography in what looks like an underground club. Then there’s some sensuous choreography in what looks like a different underground club. Then she wields a riding crop and whips some backup dancer who is ball-gagged and on a leash for some kinky choreography in what looks like yet another different underground club.

There are mannequins that are blown up. There is Britney Spears in a neon-pink ball gown on a lily pad cooing for the camera. This video, you see, is a lot. And we want it all.

Of course, the lyrics to “Work Bitch” are about as random as the litany of settings in the video, so this potpourri of sex and bras and BDSM and muscle cars is really just a manifestation of the hodgepodge of hotness she lists at various points in the song.

“You want a hot body?” Did you see Britney in this video? Check. “You want a Bugatti?” Look, there’s one speeding by! (Or maybe it’s a Maserati. Or a Lamborghini. Both are name-checked in the song, and—this may be surprising—the person who is writing an ode to Britney Spears right now cannot tell one from the other.) “You wanna live fancy?” She’s doing that, definitely, in this video. “Live in a big mansion?” That sex-dungeon-thing could be in a mansion, right? You get the picture.

The most important thing to point out about this ludicrously fabulous video is how Britney looks, which is just about flawless. Her body is in the best shape it’s been in about a decade. Her dancing, yes, is not what it used to be—but it’s pretty damned good. There’s a fire in her eye that we haven’t seen from Britney since the days when a new video from her—“Me Against the Music,” “Slave 4 U”—was an event.

Four years ago, a troubled Britney Spears released “Gimme More,” mumbling, “It’s Britney, bitch,” at the opening, presumably as some sort of call of empowerment that was spun into mockery as the star continued to flail. This time, she’s directing, “Now get to work, bitch.”
Message received: Britney's back. Bitch.

SEE ALSO: Seo In Young appears on camera without makeup and high heels for the first time on 'Great Marriage'

On the October 4th broadcast of 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook', the singer showed off both her incredible fashion sense and vocal chops.

MC Yoo Hee Yeol asked her when her interest in fashion started, and Seo In Young shared, "Around when I was 7 years old. Ever since I was young, after I hang all my clothes in my room, I would turn on music and conduct a fashion show by myself. I would look at the mirror and pose."

She also mentioned, "Lady Gaga is a renowned person, but I get compared to her in articles a lot. Like the ribbon. She tried the ribbon hairstyle. I tried the ribbon hairstyle first during my 'Cinderella' promotions. The [pelvic bone] fashion [during my 'I Want You' days] as well. Like what you see a lot on fashion shows; outfits that have cut-outs on the sides. I was the first to wear that sexy style a few years ago. But it was too fashion forward and daring so I received some harsh words. I like trying things first. But I got a lot of harsh words because I'm too fashion forward, so people around me tell me to try it a little later."

However, by Friday evening, DSP Media officially stated that Nicole will be leaving the group.

As the reasons are sensitive, they have yet to be revealed in full. Her contract will expire in January of 2014.

Goo Hara, Park Gyuri, and Han Seung Yeon have re-signed for another two years with DSP Media.

Kang Ji Young, whose contract expires in April, still has time to carefully consider her decision. It′s said she may be thinking of studying abroad, but nothing has been set in stone.
