Bob Dylan, Nirvana and Lady Gaga are among the acts releasing exclusive titles for this year's Black Friday event held by the organizers of Record Store Day.
Back to Black Friday, the newest iteration of the annual event, features a number of EPs, singles and live albums released especially for Black Friday -- dozens in all, including releases from major pop and indie artists alike.
Just a few weeks after the debut of "ARTPOP," her third studio album, Lady Gaga will drop a remix disc for new single "Applause," featuring contributions from Empire of the Sun, Purity Ring and more. The 12-inch record includes a picture of the pop singer.
Meanwhile, Nirvana's contribution is a remix/remastering of "In Utero," created earlier this year by producer Steve Albini, issued on clear vinyl.
Other artists participating include Dylan ("Side Tracks," a compilation of songs that have never appeared on a Dylan record), The Civil Wars (covers EP, featuring "Between the Bars," "Billie Jean" and more), the Flaming Lips ("Peace Sword," six tracks recorded for the "Ender's Game" soundtrack) and Jimi Hendrix Experience (7-inch vinyl featuring live versions of "Fire" and "Foxey Lady" from 1968).
Back to Black Friday will be held Nov. 29. The usual Record Store Day is held the third Saturday of in April.
