At a college that trains the specializing labor force for touring services, nearly 650 people applied knowing that only 67 would be recruited in the first round of screening.

However, interestingly enough, when participants attended the interviews on October 6, they were asked this question: "The world has ended, but the nine members of Girls' Generation are left.  You must marry one of them.  Choose one and explain your reason."

If you thought that question was a bit weird, the next question was even stranger and more puzzling.

They were asked, "If the world ended and only comedians Jo Hye Ryun, Jung Juri, and Kim Shin Young were left, whom would you marry?"

One of the applicants revealed, "I could not understand why they were asking these questions.  I even thought a bit that these may be remarks that were belittling women."

The agencies for the relevant celebrities also showed displeasure towards these absurd questions.

One agency said, "Because they are popular and well-known people, it's understandable that the college could ask these questions without considerable thought, but such acts could end up hurting those celebrities."

However, the school revealed that such questions were inevitable in order to evaluate the students' quick thinking and response, saying, "The potential candidates for becoming a person of service are not many and unspecified.  [The questions were used] in order to check whether the candidates have a mind of service that is able to adapt to rapidly changing conditions."

The students each paid a fee of 45,000 won (~42 USD), but they said there were no questions related to the field of tourism.
