As noted when it debuted on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay two weeks ago (this week it jumps 39-33 on the tally), radio format parameters are beginning to have little effect on Lorde's "Royals." The five-week-and-counting Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 has topped Pop Songs, Adult Pop Songs, Rock Airplay, Alternative Songs and Triple A, while having hit No. 2 so far on Rhythmic and No. 8 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay. In addition to its advance on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, "Royals" is the Greatest Gainer on Adult Contemporary (18-15). Now add Latin as the latest format enthralled by the song, as it debuts on Latin Pop Songs at No. 26. The track should bow on the overall Latin Airplay chart next week.
